Put down the pens and bring out the paintbrush. We're looking for a creative communications professional to push the boundaries of corporate communication. Brush away the stereotypes of Local Government communication - at Yarra Ranges Council, your imagination, sense of humour and creative flair will be embraced.
This exciting role will see you apply an innovative approach to communications and online engagement, maximising Council's digital presence through social media platforms including Facebook and Twitter and strengthening Council's brand and reputation.
With a passion for marketing and engagement, your video skills and eye for good design will see you produce a range of materials to engage the Yarra Ranges community with news they need to know.
Your knowledge of digital channels will assist us in gaining community insights and feedback on important issues to help inform council decision making, while enabling and encouraging two-way conversation with our community. Your sound understanding of data and analytics will help inform and evaluate marketing campaigns.
Your engaging, dynamic style, and ability to build strong working relationships will make you a key contributor to the success of Council's communications team, and support us in providing timely and accurate information to our local communities.
