The City of Sydney is seeking a highly skilled, dynamic and experienced Associate Producer, to join our Major Events and Festivals Team.
The Major Events and Festivals team delivers the City's Cultural Plan through a series of large scale, major public and cultural major events including Sydney New Year’s Eve, Sydney Chinese New Year, Sydney Christmas, Art & About, and Capital Works launch events.
The successful candidate will have significant major event’s industry experience, having led teams to successfully produce large, outdoor events with a minimum of ten years’ experience in a similar senior management role.
Working with the Executive Producer and an experienced major event’s senior management team, you will have demonstrated experience working with cross functional teams, outstanding communications skills, leadership, mentoring and team management experience, superior forecasting and budget management, as well as advanced scheduling and planning skills.
The Associate Producer will support the Executive Producer to build a high performance team culture that is resilient and adaptive to change, with a commitment to good governance and public benefit.
You will have advanced technical production, organisation and administrative skills, and ideally experience with Ungerboeck (EBMS), Technical drawing (Vectorworks or Auto CAD), MS Project or other scheduling software and financial management tools.
