An exciting opportunity currently exists for an experienced Development Engineer - Drainage to join the Asset Management Team on a full time, ongoing basis.
Your role with us
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will provide accurate, quality, responsive and courteous advice to a range of stakeholders on the interpretation and application of engineering requirements pertaining to the development and sub-division of land.
- Provide technical advice on design solutions for drainage issues across the municipality;
- Provide engineering and planning input into subdivision and development proposals;
- Manage the acceptance, registering, reduction and cancellation of development and maintenance bonds related to sub divisional town planning developments; and
- Manage the provision of engineering advice, certification and compliance of sub-divisions on behalf of the relevant drainage authority (Council).
To be successful in this role you will bring demonstrated experience in municipal engineering and the application of stormwater drainage requirements and highly developed interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of management and other internal and external stakeholders. You will bring knowledge, awareness and understanding of sustainability principles and state, regional and local planning strategies, particularly as they relate to engineering and planning.
A current Victorian driver’s license is required for this role.
